When this happens those carloads of the Resource ARE in that 2nd Warehouse, i.e. If a train loads carloads of a Resource at a Rural (or any) Warehouse, it can take those carloads to a different Warehouse that is set to accept/hold that Resource. Rural Warehouses near a Resource Site NEVER store that resource, they ONLY serve as a place to pick (load) up that Resource, the Resources remain at the Resource Site(s) where they can be picked up at ANY Station/Warehouse that is within range of the Resource Site (including by other Companies' trains at their own Stations/Warehouses). Have you set the Warehouse to accept and Store that resource? I guess I want to know should I be able to connect a warehouse to a resource and use it like a normal station? Even though is gives the 0+12/90 stats you see when you connect a warehouse to a city there does not seem to be the same invisible flow of goods so I can't seem to use a warehouse like a normal station. I found a spot that had a few resources already there and was hoping I could just connect the warehouse like a normal station. So I wanted to create a ring-road of warehouses and ship everything in from across the map. I'm dong the Gold Rush scenario and I need to build up several cities in an area that is a bit sparse on resources. Is it possible ? Do I have to set up normal station to move the product into the warehouse that way ? If so, what's the link for ? However, I can't seem to get the product onto a train. If you build a warehouse near a resource you get the green circle and the blue line showing they are 'connected'.
